Onishi Hiroyuki

With over 35 years Telecommunication and Datacom experience, Onishi Hiroyuki became a Dept. Head of Service Provider business in 2006 and led the data center and cloud business start up. In 2009 designed and built a PUE 1.3 data center as a first Japanese member of The Green Grid, Since then, build and operated energy efficient data centers, without the chiller, using the liquid immersion cooling technologies, and so on.

Recently, Onishi focuses on consulting services of data center planning, design and operations for local and international customers.
Onishi Hiroyuki is a board member of OCP Japan and Japan Data Center Council (JDCC), an active member of the Green Grid (TGG), Green University of Tokyo Project (GUTP) and ASP-SaaS-IoT Cloud Consortium (ASPIC). Also he leads JDCC/GUTP joint working group for Server Hall Design/Operations Guidebook and University of Tokyo's TSCP (Todai Sustainable Campus Project) Energy Efficient Data Center Guideline working group.
