Data Center Design Awareness

Phil Turnock started his career as an electrical apprentice in 1970.

In 1985 he was approached by the environmental design and implementation division of International Computers Limited (ICL) to refurbish a data center for an international jewellery company, and from there his relationship with them continued to grow.

His projects became larger and encompassed all aspects of data center construction for local and national government departments – with his specialty being refurbishing existing data centers while they're still in operation.

In 2001 Phil gained the BICSI RCDD credential and in 2003, the NTS. More recently he gained the CDCDP qualification.
